The arboretum at Barking Central consists of specially imported mature trees that will flourish and bring a sense of nature to town centre life.
This mini-forest will bring life to the stunning eight metre high arcade, a public walkway from the local shops to the town hall square.
Resplendent with a Venetian style tiled floor, this colonnade is a mix of Edwardian style and European culture. Recognised in the Mayor of London’s 100 public spaces programme, the arboretum and open public spaces make a beautifully unique addition to the benefits of urban life.
